Military History

Private William Cross enlisted at Nottingham and served in the 7th battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, he landed in France on 31st August 1915 and was killed in action on 14th February 1916 he is buried in Menin Road Military Cemetery, Belgium grave reference I H 5
