
Albert Ernest Wilson
Member of Dakeyne Street Lads' Club, 2nd Nottingham Company Boys' Brigade. His name appears in the obituaries in the Boys' Brigade Gazettes of March 1916 and February 1917. At the time of the 1911 census he was an errand boy.

Son of Henry and Rosetta Wilson, of 20, Caroline St., Peas Hill Rd., Nottingham. The family's address at the time of the 1911 Census was 11 Little John Terrace, Little John Street. There were five children living at home, Harry (22), Nelly (22), Albert Ernest (15, born 1896), Percy (12) and Annie (11).
He enlisted in London and served in France from 1 June 1915. He qualified for the 1915 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal. Commemorated on the Loos Memorial.
