Family history

Frederick Henry Robinson was born in 1898 at Nottingham, he was the only child of Fred a plumber and Frances Robinson née Hammond of 12, Stewart Place, Nottingham.

His father Fred was born in 1876 at Nottingham, his mother Frances Hammond was born in 1877 at Nottingham, they were married on 13th November 1897 at Holy Trinity Church, Nottingham

In the 1911 census the family are living at 3 Lytton Street, Gordon Road, Nottingham Fred 35 yrs a plumber, he is living with his wife Frances 34 yrs and their son Frederick Henry 12 yrs of age.

Military history

Private Frederick Henry Robinson enlisted at Nottingham, he seved with the 1/4th battalion King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, he was killed in action on 9th October 1917, having no known grave his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial Panel 108 to 111
