Gunner Frank Johnson enlisted in 1907, he was a joiner, he was mobilised 4 August 1914 having previously enlisted in 1907 on a short service engagement he served as a gunner in the 23rd reserve battalion Royal Field Artillery He was discharged from the Army on 19 March 1915 and died of tuberculosis two years later. He is buried at Lenton (Holy Trinity) Churchyard Nottingham
