Cecil Frank Quick Costin

Cecil Frank Quick Costin was born in 1880 at Market Harborough, Leicestershire, he was the son of John Quick Costin a surgeon and Susannah Costin née Richardson and the brother of Clara (née Costin), Ethel, Francis, Adeline and Alice .

His father John Quick was born in 1840 at Market Harborough, his mother Sarah Clara Richardson was born in 1844 at Oundle, Northamptonshire, they were married on 10th June 1864 at Oundle, Northamptonshire, they went on to have 10 children, sadly 3 were to die in infancy or early childhood.

In the 1911 census the family are living at 38 High Street Market Harborough John Quick Costin 70 yrs a retired surgean is living with his wife Sussanah 66 yrs and 5 of their children.

Cecil was the husband of Louisa Newton (born 17th June 1882) they were married in 1903 at Nottingham , they had children, Sybil Mary born 28th February 1906 and John Quick Costin born 18th December 1909.

In 1911 they lived at 3 Warwick Street Abbey Street Lenton Nottingham .Cecil Frank Quick Costin 30 yrs is a fruit salesman he is living with his wife Loiusa 28 yrs and their children, Sybil Mary 5 yrs and John Quick 1 year old.

Commencing 6th March 1916 his widow was awarded a pension of 18 shillings and 6 pence a week which was increased to 22 shillings and 11 pence a week on 4th April 1917.

Louisa married John Blayney in 1918 and lived at 109 Ilkeston Road Nottingham.
