James Bonser

James Bonser was born in 1881 at Radford, he was the son of the late Isaac Bonser a lace maker and the late Mary Ann Bonser née Pike of Salisbury Street, Radford,

His father Isaac was born in 1860 at Radford, he died in 1917 aged 56 yrs his mother Mary Ann Pike was born in 1855 at Keyworth she died in 1907 aged 52 yrs they were married in 1879 at Radford, they went on to have 6 children.

In the 1911 census the family are living at 1 Salisbry Street, Radford, Isaac Bonser 51 yrs a
widow and a lace maker is living with his children, Annie Bertha 29 yrs a cigarette maker and Albert Edward 19 yrs a clerk.

James was the husband of Adeline James born 19th July 1879, they were married in 1902 at Nottingham, and the father of James Edward born 1903 and Cyril Everard Bonser born 25th June 1910.

In the 1911 census the family lived at 20 Trinity Avenue Lenton Boulevard Nottingham James 30 yrs is a warehouse man, he is living with his wife Adeline 31 yrs and their children, James Edward 8 yrs and Cyril Everard 9 months old.

Commencing 24th March 1919 his widow was awarded a pension of 22 shillings and 11 pence a week.
