Family History
He was the son of John (1869-1928) an Iron Foundry Moulder and Ellen (née Bates) Dodsley (1872-1950). He was the brother of Ann, Florence, Sarah Ellen, Nellie, Frank and Arthur Dodsley. In 1911 they lived at 12 Portland Road West Bridgford Nottingham. At the date of William’s death the family lived at 215 Cinderhill Road Bulwell Nottingham.
