Victor William Beardsmore was born in 1898. In 1911, he lived with his grandparents William and Mary Beardsmore and their two coal miner sons Percy and Lewis.
Military History
Victor William Beardsmore enlisted at Nottingham and was killed in action on 28th November 1917 in Egypt . He is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial.

“BEARDSMORE. – In loving memory of Pte. Victor William Beardsmore, aged 20, who gave his life for his country November 28th, 1917. Gone but not forgotten.”
