Hit by Flak over Emden and crashed on the edge of the Bansmeer about 6 km E of the town centre. 4 fatalities: Jones +ER Brundon, G Wilson. Five crewmen survived to become POWs: PF Christopher, PH Cutchy, JA Fagan, HJ Smith, A Wood.
