He was the son of Nelson and Sarah Ann Binch and the brother of Raymond Mead Binch. In 1939, they lived on Flatts Lane, Calverton, Nottinghamshire. Victor Binch and Ruby Jackson were married in 1943. Ruby Binch later lived at Daybrook, Nottinghamshire.

Military history

3/4 March 1945 Lancaster NG170 227 Sqn Take off 18.52 RAF Balderton on a mission to
Dortmund-Ems Kanal , intercepted and shot down by a night fighter piloted by Hptm Josef Kraft NJG1 crashing at Altenbergen. The attack came from below and the crew later reported (Form AIR 14/3460) they had been hit by Flak.
