Son of James Edward and Catherine Frances French, of Northam, Western Australia.
Lancaster III LM334 took off 2126 from Langar. No survivors. Fatalities: John Richard Welch (P), Leslie Thomas Reynolds (FE), Hugh John McCulloch (N), Keeble Charles French (W/Op), Geoffrey Augustus Lynch (BA), James Seddon (AG), Arthur Herbert Whetton (AG).

674 aircraft - 349 Lancasters, 221 Halifaxes, 104 Stirlings took part in this raid. 11 of each type were lost. because of difficulties with Pathfinder navigation, most of the bombs fell outside the city.
