Son of Cyril Edward and Myrtle Mary Jolly, of King's Lynn, Norfolk.
Ted’s father was the station Master at Retford railway station and they lived in the relevant house there. Ted died in a plane crash in Scotland after the war. Ted had two brothers and a sister.
