Annie Bailey was born in the second quarter of 1904 in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire.
Daughter of : Robert Bailey who was born in Teversal, Nottinghamshire and Wilhemine Bailey, nee Holland who was born in Stanton Hill, Nottinghamshire, they were married in the third quarter of 1890 in the Registration District of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
According to the 1911 Census the Family were living at : 11. King street, Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire.

Part of the Bailey Family at one time lived in the Caretaker's Lodge at Huthwaite Cemetery where both of their Parents are buried, and Brother and Sister, Bernard Bailey and Annie Bailey are Commemorated on the Family Memorial located on their Parent's grave.
Their Sister, Lois Martha Street, nee, Bailey (Cremated) is also Commemorated on yhe Family grave with her Husband, Mark Street.
Her Mother, Wilhelmine Bailey, nee Holland died in 1935.
Her Father, robert Bailey died in 1938.
By this time Annie Bailey was living and working as a Domestic Servant / Child Nurse at Colwyn Bay, Conwy, North Wales where she was fondly remembered as a very caring Children's Nurse, her voluntary duties leading to a position as an Assistant Stewardess in the Merchant Navy.
