12 March 1942 Hampden P5326 455 Sqn. Took off 13.00 from RAF Wigsley on an air test but
crashed almost immediately diving into the ground after reported engine failure. Station Engineer Officer report stated aircraft yawed with undercarriage up into a tree and through a hedge. No engine faults could be found.
