Allsop was the flight engineer aboard Lancaster I W4268 which took off 1735 15 Feb 1944 from Mildenhall. THere were no survivors when it crashed at Neu Gaarz where all were buried 17 Feb 1944.
Fatalities: Allsop + Francis Peter Bramley (BA), James Robin Garbutt (P), James Mc Spayden (AG), Kenneth Mcgregor Neilson (WOp), Monteith Samuel Pearson (AG), Sidney George Rees (N) & Geoffrey Arthur Welch (P).
