21/22 January 1942 Hampden X3051 408 Sqn. Took off from RAF Balderton part of 54 aircraft raid to bomb Bremen. Lost without trace , although new data shows X3051 may have been lost in combat or collided with Bf110 D-3 R4+JP which was also lost without trace in the North Sea, 20 km west of Petten with the crew Uffz Kurt Zipperlein and Gefr Werner Schunter.
