Thomas Randle Starkey was born in 1864 at Huddersfield, he was the son of the late Lewis Randle Starkey a railway director and Constance Margarette Starkey.

His father Lewis Randle Starkey was born in 1836 at Huddersfield, he died in in 1910 in Nottinghamshire, he was 74 yrs of age, his mother Constance Margarette was born in 1836 at Huddersfileld she died in 1919 at Bournemouth she was 83 yrs of age, they were married on 5th May 1858 at Huddersfield, they went on to have 7 children.

Thomas Randle married Constance Maud Seymour on 5th July 1916 at Holy Trinity Church Clapham, they lived at Fern Lodge, Atkins Road, Clapham Park, Surrey he was living at 8 East Sea View, New Biggen by Sea when he died he was buried on 17th November 1916 at Halam near Southwell. Nottinghamshire.

His probate was proven on 6th October 1922 at London, it shows him as Thomas Randle Starky of Fern Lodge, Atkins Road, Clapham Park, Surrey his effects of £31305 6 shillings and 1 pence were left to Arthur Henry Starkey.

Military history

Lieutenant Thomas Randle Starkey enlisted and served with the 159th Company Royal Defence Corps, he died on 13th November 1916 at Newbiggin By Sea, Northumberland, he is burid at Halam (St Michal) churchyard, Halam In South-East corner.
