Extra information

I can find no connection to Mansfield, but his Army Roll of Honour entry states his residence in 1941 was Nottinghamshire. However during the 1920s many miners moved to North Nottinghamshire when local collieries were either expanded or new ones sunk, Clipstone in 1922, Blidworth in 1926, Bilsthorpe in 1927 and Thoresby in 1928. So George may have moved to this area then.
