Gunner E. A. Johnson, Anti-Tank Littery, RA, who died at Amersham Hospital, Bucks, on Monday, August 28th, from injuries sustained in a road accident while performing the duties of dispatch rider on Thursday, August 17th.

He left a widow (formerly - Miss J. E. Clara, of 2, Peel-avenue, Retford). They were married on Augrst 27th, 1941.

Gunner Johnson had been three years in the Army, was formerly employed at Messrs. Clark and Co's Dyeworks, Retford.
