There does not seem to be any connection to the Mansfield area other than he died in Mansfield and so was buried at Nottingham Road cemetery. According to Guy's will he died at 105 Stockwell Gate, Mansfield. This was the address for the Victoria Hospital (now the site of Mansfield Coomunity Hospital).
