Family history

Son of Thomas and Eliza Turton of Linton Road, Castle Greasley.
Thomas had died in 1895 and Eliza died in 1921. Joseph was one of 9 children. In 1911 Joseph was living with his older sister Maud and her husband, Thomas Lockley, at 30 leeming Lane Mansfield Woodhouse.
Joseph married Maud Beatrice Place at St Edmunds Church Mansfield Woodhouse on 26th April 1913.
They had 2 children, Thomas born in 1913 and Alice K in 1914. In 1921 Thomas was living with his aunt, Maud Lockley in Mansfield Woodhouse and Alice was living with her paternal grandmother, Eliza Turton in Castle Greasley.
