Suicide. Flanagan burst into an orderly room on Friday armed with a revolver, of which, according to a duty corporal, he had forcibly obtained possession. Then he fired at Sergt. Christopher Thompson, afterward committing suicide. It was stated that Flanagan had been drinking. A verdict of 'suicide while the balance of the mind was disturbed owing to taking excessive alcohol,' was recorded.
