
John Thomas Sadler
In 1921 John was an apprenticed bricklayer working for Rodgers & Crookes, Builders & Contrators. His father Haywood and older brother James also worked for Rodgers and Crookes. In 1939 he was working has a builders labourer.

Son of Haywood and Mary Emma Sadler of 7 Newgate Lane, Mansfield. He had numerous siblings, Harriett, James, Elsie, Haywood, Hilda, Phyliss, Winifred and Doris.
He married Grace Muriel Godson in 1930. They had 2 daughters, June in 1931 and Joan in 1937.

On CWGC his date of death is given between 27th January and 31st January 1942 during the attack on Singapore.
