Family history

Son of George Alfred and Lucy Mallatratt. He was baptised on 7th January 1897 at St John'd Church, Mansfield.
On 22nd March 1919 he married Winifred Mead and they had 2 sons, Edward born 1919 and Derrick born 1923.
In 1939 Albert and Winifred were living at 23 Wood Street, Mansfield.
His older brother, William George died on the 18th September 1918 whilst serving with the Sherwood Foresters in WW1.

Extra information

Can find no trace of Albert on CWGC so why he is recorded on the memorial is not known.
