Only son of Thomas and Ethel Mary Henderson.
Thomas was killed in the WW1. He was Sergeant (Piper) Thomas Henderson of the Gordon Highlanders and was killed on 14th December 1917.
In 1921 the family were boarding at Mechanics Institute, Queen Street, Mansfield and in 1939 Ethel and Tom's sister Ethel Nora (15/6/1911) where living at 62 Ravensdale Rad, Mansfield. Ethel Nora worked in the shoe trade.

Left Waddington on 17/9/40 going to Antwerp and crashed west of Burcht, Antwerp.
In his will he left £127 11s 1d to his widowed mother, living at 62 Ravensdale Road, Mansfield.
