Military history

HMS Hurworth: Launched 16th April 1941 and was sunk on 22nd October 1943.
HMS Hurworth left Alexandria on 21st of October 1943 taking supplies to Leros, Doedecanese Islands. The Adrias hit a mine and Hurworth went to give assisstance when she too hit a mine. The ship split in two and sank in 15 minutes. 133 men dies and 85 survived.
