Family history

Son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Annie Rose. They had 2 other sons, Arthur Cornelius (1901) and Thomas (1904).
In 1939 Albert was living with his widowed mother and his brother Arthur at 10 Broomhill Lane Mansfield.
In 1921 the family had lived at 2 Lucas Yard, Pleasley.
In 1941 Albert married Kathleen Neale of 36 Bagshaw Street, Pleasley. Kathleen married Eric Dawson in 1946.

News has been received of the death in North West Europe of Pte Albert Edwin Rose aged 28. He was apprentised as a painter to Mr J. M. Sims and he remained in his service until he enlisted four years ago.
He went overseas on June 18th.

On CWGC he is down has Allen Edwin Rose. There is a Albert Edwin Rose who died on 4th July but his parent's names are different and they lived in Wiltshire.
