Origanal crew member at RAF Newton since the Polish operations started there. PAF serviceman since 17 September 1940. Arrived back at base from a trip to Nottingham and was showing friends a pair of gloves he had bought and saying he had just posted all his Christmas cards, when he collapsed and died. Autopsy found he had died of heart failure due to Pneumonia. F/Sgt Teodor Jankowski (fitter/mechanic) present at death. Buried Newark Cemetery 28 December 1945.
