Died at Stamford Infirmary of injuries received the previous day in a Polish Army lorry crash. Rescued from the burning lorry by a local man Amos Walker, who threw a coat over his head and entered the wreckage pulling the injured W/O Malysz free. Buried Newark Cemetery 28/5/1945, Stefania Malyszowa named in probate. Emigrated to the United States of America in 1913 living at 62 Ital Street, Mocanaqua, Pennsylvania and fought for ' The Haller Army ' in France, transferring to Poland after WW1. Left Danzig 28/3/1920 on US Troop Ship Antigone arriving at Hoboken, New Jersey 18/4/1920 as part of 84 men of A Company Polish Army. Before being sent to Fort Dix, New Jersey, USA.
