05/09/1941 Wellington 18 OTU on a training flight, crashed on take off. Kapral Bosek injured, he returned to the squadron but less than 5 months later he died at St James's Hospital, Leeds from injuries received when his car was in an accident with a lorry on a bridge between Thorne and Bawtry.
