Died at Bracebridge Military Hospital from multiple abdominal injuries after the truck he was a passenger in was involved in an accident.
One of several airmen in the rear of a truck which collided with a passing truck, the canvas cover was torn away and LAC Gawad and AC1 Bulax fell to the road, seriously injured.
