Halifax III MZ825 took off 2122 12 Aug 1944 form Leeming. Shot down by Flak crashing 0045 at Brelingen 18 km NNW from the centre of Hannover where all are buried in the War Cemetery. No survivors. Fatalities: DG Depew (P), E Newton (FE), K Brayne (N), CJ Dempster (W/Op), SA Vasiloff (AB), OF Compton (AG, J Walker (AG).
