Extra information

Known as Buddy.

Joseph Gallagher had lost his first wife and daughter in the Influenza Pandemic of 1918 and married Albertina Notebaert born in Belgium 1898. They married in Poulton le Fylde in 1920. They had four children Irene born 1920, Bernard born 1921, May born 1923.

Irene and Bernards birth dates were moved forward by a year when the family moved to Newark.

The death certificate was registered well beyond the 14 days allowed. This may have been due to discrepancies in the birth dates used by the family and the registered birth dates of Buddy and his older sibling. (CWGC age 19, death certificate age 20)
