21 March 1941 Wellington L7874 301 Sqn. Training flight practicing over shoots, 01.20 aircraft stalled when pulling away at RAF Swinderby crashed killing all 3 crew. Buried Newark Cemetery.
It is believed that the aircraft stalled due to a premature retraction of the flaps.
