Take off 16.00 from RAF Swinderby to bomb the Focke-Wulf factory Bremen. 1 January 1941 23.15 crashed in a field between Wellingore and Welbourne, Lincolnshire, killing all but 1 crew member. Mishandling of the flaps is quoted as being a possible cause of the accident.

Reported on other sites; T2518 was shot down by an Intruder flown by Uffz Helmut Arnold of 1/NJG 2; Uffz Arnold claimed a Wellington 18.45 North Sea, east of Happisburgh. No German claim was made at the time of the crash.
