Killed in road traffic accident. Fracture of the base of the skull after being hit by a car driven by Frank James Curtis of Lincoln on Newark Road, Swinderby. Inquest held 20th November, death by misadventure. Coroner Reynold Scorer expressed the opinion that airmen should be reminded by their commanding offcers to walk on the right hand side of the road facing oncoming traffic.
