Edith Eliza Briggs was laid to rest 14/5/1941 at Nottingham Southern Cemetery (Wilford Hill) along with her daughter Doris Relph and granddaughter Sheila Relph. They were all killed when their home, 24, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford was destroyed 9/5/1941. Her son in law, Doris's husband, Roland Relph, died at Leeds in 1955 and was also interred in this now badly neglected grave.
