Family History

Margaret Allen was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Allen and the sister of Charles, Alice, John, Stanley, Grace and Leonard Allen. In 1901, they lived at 23, Pointers Avenue, Nottingham. In 1909, Margaret married Frederick Thomas Wheatcroft (also killed in the 9/5/41 air raid) at Nottingham and they had three children – Frederick Robert, Albert and Olive. Margaret and Frederick lived at 8, Granville Grove, Carlton Road, Nottingham from before 1911 until they both lost their lives in 1941.
