Military history
He was admitted seriously ill to Number 62 MFH at Shillong on 30 November 1944 suffering with lympho sarcoma and a mediating tumour. Dangerously ill on 4 March 1945, he was evacuation to the U.K. and admitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary. He entered into a mediastinalLymphoma coma and was transferred to St Barts hospital in London. Readmitted to Doncaster Royal Infirmary on 5 June where he died (rafcommands).
