Family history

Son of Charles and Annie Tarrant, of 14 Bleakhills, Mansfield.
Siblings: Fanny Elizabeth (1905), George William (1907), Annie (1909), John Anthony (1912) and Mary (1914).
Charles snr had served with the Sherwood Foreasters from 14/11/1898 to September 1902 in India and South Africa. He was a reservist until 1908 and re-enlisted on 9th September 1914 (west Yorkshire Regiment) and was discharged on 25th February 1919. He was awarded a pension due to injuries, Spastic Paraplegia. He died on 22nd August 1920.
He married Minnie Pearson in 1931 and they had no children.
