Family history

Son of John and Harriett Bradley of West Bromwich. John had died in 1922 and Harriett in 1936.
He married Lillian Adeline White at All Saint's Church, Annesley on 9th September 1920 and they were living at 17 The Grove Annesley.
Their son Donald was born 11th September 1924.
In 1939 they were living at 2 Second Avenue Clipstone, John was the timekeeper at the colliery and Donald was a colliery electrician.
Lillian married Edmund Goodman in 1948.

Military history

John had served from 5th march 1915, with the South Staffordshire Regiment.
He transferred to the Machine Gun Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant.

Extra information

John Gordon's service was held at All Saints Church Clipstone on 22nd March 1945, but his body was interred at Annesley Cemetery
