Military history

Lancaster lll LM645 took off 1511 23 Oct 1944 from Spilsby to attack gun batteries near the port of Vissingen, Netherlands. Visibility was poor and the bombing was scattered. 4 Lancasters were lost. Presumed Lancaster III LM645 crashed in the target area.
