HMS Britomart (Lt.Cdr. Arthur James Galvin, DSC) was a Halcyon class mine sweeper accidentally sunk by allied aircraft off Le Havre, France on August 27th 1944. 20 men were lost including Able Seaman Gerald Cutler from Sneinton Dale, Nottingham. (uboat.net)
