Military history

52nd (Bedfordshire Yeomanry) Heavy Regiment Royal Artillery was formed on 1st November 1939 and was sent to France as part of the B.E.F. It was disbanded after Dunkirk but re-raised on 11th March 1943. From June 1944 they were part of 5th AGRA (Army Group Royal Artillery) and took part in the North West Europe Campaign.
