Siblings: Kathleen born 1920 and twin brother, Cecil born 4th June 1923.
In 1921 Albert, Elizabeth and Kathleen where living at Clowne and Albert is listed as out of work miner, Shireoaks Colliery. The family may have moved to Clipstone when Clipstone Coliery opened in the mid 1920's.

A sad death took place at a military hospital in Scotland on Juy 2nd following an operation for appendercitis of Pte Celia Thompson 544(m) H.A.A. Battery R.A. The daughter of Mr & Mrs A Thompson of Clipstone, the funeral took place at Clowne.
Her battery was represented by Lieu Baker and 2 of her company. The deceased worked for Messrs Barringer, Wallis and Manners from leaving school to being called up. She was an active member of the Clipstone Colliery Girl Guides Brigade.
