Married Doris Moult of 56 Clumber Street, Mansfield in 1940 and their daughter, Diane was born in 1942. Doris did not remarry and died in 1972.
Military history
Ronald is buried at St Manieu War Cemetery where most of the men buried there were from the battles fought between mid June to end of July 1944 in the region between Tilly-Sur-Seulles and Caen.
