Married Amy Lancaster in the winter of 1940.
In 1939 Bill was living with Amy's family at 20 Regent Street, Sutton in Ashfield. Amy was born 24/5/1920 (she had a twin sister, May) and worked as a bobbin winder in a hosiery factory.
They had no children and she married Owen Gregory in 1947.
His parents were William Henry and Phoebe Elizabeth Harvey of 41 Titchfield Street, Mansfield. In 1911 the family lived at 28 Titchfield Street, Mansfield by 1921 they had moved to number 41 Titchfield Street and Phoebe died at that address in 1963.
Siblings : Evelyn 1902, Gladys 1904, Marian 1906 and Elsie May 1909.
