Military history

He was the piolt of Lancaster III JB527 which took off 1728 26 Nov 1943 from Elsham wolds. Crashed at Ahrensfelde some 14 km NE of Berlin where all were buried in the city's 1939- 45 War cemetery. No survivors. Fatalities: Pugh + PA Barnes, G Booth, MH King, A Mavromatis, GW Prescott, DSeymour Thom.
