Military history
Admitted to 5 South African Hospital on 9 June following 2 days of diarrhoea with blood and mucus and cramping abdominal pains with vomiting. His condition deteriorated and by 12 June he was dangerously ill and despite treatment with drips and stomach suctions died at 05;45 Hours on 18 June. A post mortem revealed a great constriction of the entire small intestines with plastic peritonitis and a gangrenous appendix
