Roy Brown was the son of Thomas Benjamin and Elsie Brown, of Hill Top, Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. In 1939, he was living with John G and Martha Brown at Hanstubbin, Selston, Nottinghamshire along with his brother Rex Brown.

Military history

Roy Brown was the air bomber aboard Wellington III BK459 which crashed in France. No survivors. Fatalities: Breown + Jerold Mountford Everill (P), Francis Desmond Clarke (N), John Robert Gurdon (WO) & Thornton Edward Richardson (AG).
